Sapa: Hard trekking1
(4 days and 3 nights : 2 nights over at homestay, 1 night at hotel)
Night 1: Ha Noi – Lao Cai train station.
8:00 pm – Mini bus pick up from your hotel and transfer HaNoi train station.
9:10 pm – Check in sleeper train to Sapa . Travel time approx 9 hrs.
*Day 1: Hang Da – Hau Thao – Giang Ta Chai (B, L, D)
6:00 am – Arrive Lao Cai train station . Change to mini bus for transfer to Sapa hotel. Travel time approx 1 hr.
7-8:00 am – Breakfast at hotel, shower and luggage drop off. Begin trek from central Sapa towards Dragon jaw Mountain.
9:20 am – Trek up hill and reach the altitude of 1850 m (250m above Sapa and be rewarded with spectacular views of Sapa.
11:30am – Arrive to untouched Hang Da (Rocky cave) village of Black H’mong. Here we will visit some local houses and get an understanding of the Black H’mong culture and talk with hospitable families.
12:30pm – Break for a picnic lunch. Continue trekking along the side of Dragon jaw Mountain and enjoy an overall view of many villages with rice terraces down in the Muong Hoa valley. Trek through a village called Hau Thao with Black H’mong people.
4:00pm – Arrive to Giang Ta Chai village inhabited by Zay homestay located at the foot of Giang Ta Chai waterfall.
*Day 2: Giang Ta Chai – Seo Trung Ho – Ban Ho (B, L, D)
8:00am – Breakfast at homestay. Begin trek to another part of the village and discover the rich culture of Red Zao minority.
10:00am – Trek through the village of Seo Trung Ho which is inhabited by Red Zao ethnic minority.
Cross Seo Trung Ho suspension bridge continuing up the mountain to Ban Den village of Black H’mong and Tay minorities.
1:00pm – Break for lunch. Trek down to Ban Ho village of Tay minorities. Arrive into Ban Ho, here you will be warmly welcomed by our hots, share dinner with them, and stay at their traditional stilt home.
*Day 3: Nam Toong – My Son – Thanh Phu – Sapa (B, L, D)
6:30am – Breakfast at homestay. Start trekking up to the remote village Nam Toong, inhabited by Red Zao tribe.
8:30am – Trekking through rice – terrace to get to My Son village of Xa Pho ethnic minority
which is the poorest and most remote village in the Sapa district with a population of only three hundred people.
12:00am – Lunch break. Continue trek to Thanh Phu bridge for jeep/car pick up and transfer to Sapa. Arrive in Sapa for checking in to the hotel and dinner.
*Day 4 Visit places : Ma Tra – Ta Phin – Sapa (B, L, D)
8:00am – Breakfast at hotel. Depart for the trek from Sapa.
10:30am – Start decesding into fantastic Ma Tra valley passing lush rice-terraces, corm fields on slopes and enter Ma Tra village with Black H’mong tribe where we will witness their daily life style. Have chances to meet and talk with locals working in the fields.
12:30pm – Break for a picnic lunch.
1:00pm – Continue trekking to Ta Phin village inhabited by mainly Red Zao tribe famous for their colourful handdicrafts.
2:30pm – Stroll around the village and visit some hospitable Red Zao families to learn about their culture.
3:00pm – Take a jeep/car back to Sapa for a short break and dinner.
5:30pm – Our bus will transfer your group to LaoCai train station , check in the sleeper train back to HaNoi.
*Day 5: Arrive Ha Noi.
5:00am – Arrive at Hanoi . Tour finish at HaNoi train station. ( from train station to hotel in Oldquater around 3km , so you can walking or taxi Maximum 5,0 $ / Taxi )
