Highlight of Southern and Best of Mekong Delta trip

Breakfast at hotel restaurant, take a rest. Around 8:00 am, our guide will pick you up then we’ll start the tour for today

Located about 60 kilometers to the northeast of Ho Chi Minh City, it is an extensive labyrinth of underground tunnels that stretch all the way to the Cambodian border. The Cu Chi Tunnels network was built within 25 years from 1948 during the war against the French. It served as a means of communication between villages and helped the Vietnamese to evade scouting French soldiers.

Enjoy the scenic drive northwest towards the Cambodian border. Today you will get to explore a section of the network of some 125 miles (200 kilometers) of subterranean passages and rooms

Upon on arrival, we will watch a short documentary film about this tunnels tell you how about the histories and how fierce the war happened. Then the tour will help you to learn the pivotal part they played in the war such as trap doors, and climb inside to see where the Viet Cong built storage facilities, weapons factories, kitchens…

Afterward travelers can try local special food are rice tapioca & hot tea which was main food  during the war.

Visitors can try to fire off an AK47 or M16 or machine guns at the nearby shooting range ( Payment by yourself).  After all our driver transfer you back to Saigon to have lunch then departure to Visit SaiGon city .

Still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This bustling metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with bikes and motorbikes, excited by numerous shopping area and sidewalk café. A city tour takes us in the Reunification Palace which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office.

Visit China town, Thien Hau pagoda. After seeing the War Remnant, we continue to the bustling Ben Thanh Market for an appreciation of local life.  Tour finish at your hotel.

Depart Saigon for a 1.5hr drive to Ben Tre Province in the Mekong Delta, famous for its tropical fruit gardens and traditional products made of coconuts. Visit a brick factory to learn how bricks are made by hand using centuries-old traditional methods before boarding your private local boat and cruising along the waterways to observe the way of life on the river.

Shore excursions include a coconut workshop where almost every part of the coconut is used for candies and crafts, and a family-run mat workshop where you can try your hand at weaving the ubiquitous straw sleeping mats. A 3km (2mi) ride by tuk-tuk or bicycle takes you to the home of a fruit farmer where you can sample tropical fruits. After lunch at a local restaurant, board a rowing sampan for close up views of the water palm-lined waterways of the Delta. Go back to your car and continue the journey to Can Tho

Over night in Can Tho

In the morning, early wake up. Have breakfast.

Tour guide will pick you up again. We will take a motor boat trip visit the floating market (the biggest floating market in Mekong). There are many boats from small to big gather on a part of river to do their daily business with the agriculture produces like fruits and vegetables (many kind of fruits & vegetables of the tropic weather).

( But this legacy of Mekong Delta we may no longer find in the next 10 years because of the development of roads as well as the living conditions of people have become increasingly better )

Later, we will stop at the rice noodle and the rice husking mill village to see how the local people produce their produces. Then, the boat made another cruises around the small countryside of Can Tho. Here, we will have a chance to experience how to pass a “Monkey bridge” which is built by only one bamboo before the car transfern you head straight to An Giang province, to visit the charming beauty of Tra Su Forest, cruise on a rowing sampan through the mysterious forest and take time to observe all creatures living there, FANTASTIC!

Immerse yourself in the wonderful nature of forest with green duck weed on the water's surface as well as flocks of birds perched on Cajuput, and other animals. First, we will take the local speedboat, cruising along small canals, and then we will embark in a traditional rowing Sampan, and we will go through the peaceful and mysterious forest. What a fantastic feeling!

From high towers overlooking the forest, you will be able to observe all the wildlife of this amazing place and watch all the local creatures come and go.

Around 3:00 pm, depart for  Chau Doc hotel. Our driver and tour guide will then bring you back to  Chau Doc after this wonderful trip and lots of unforgettable memories! Take your time in Chau Doc

Early this morning, take a speed boat head straight to Phnom Penh, Cambodia
